DESCRIPTION

Dynamic Light for a Fluid Workforce

Uber’s Mission Bay campus reimagines the modern headquarters as a connected, adaptable ecosystem. We approached the lighting design with this same spirit—crafting a responsive environment where users feel supported, engaged, and in control of their experience.

Natural light flows deep into each level, enhanced by glare-free systems that evolve with the sun’s movement. Quiet perimeters, open neighborhoods, and collaborative zones were tuned to support energy cycles, visual variety, and acoustic strategies.

With lighting controls seamlessly integrated into architectural elements, the result is a unified environment where lighting appears effortless—but is deeply intentional. From public zones to private focus areas, light becomes a silent partner in daily rhythm.
